The Origin
"What if we just made a giant wrench?"

HMPFAC — High Mountain Precision Fantastic Awesome Creations — started as what all good ideas start as: a combination of engineering knowledge, a 3D printer, and absolutely no regard for practicality.

The Big Ass Adjustable Wrench wasn't designed because anyone needed it. It was designed because the idea was too funny not to build. Then we built it, put it in the shop, and realized immediately that everyone who saw it wanted one.

Every wrench is printed to order in our shop. No mass production, no overseas factories. Just a printer farm, a lot of ASA filament, and an ongoing commitment to building things that make people stop and stare.

No — and that's the whole point. The Big Ass Adjustable Wrench is a precision novelty display piece. The jaw adjusts (you can turn the worm gear), but it's not built for actual use. It's built to be displayed, admired, and talked about.
6.5 feet tall. For reference, that's taller than most people. It leans against a wall and reaches the ceiling in most standard rooms. The head alone is about the size of a basketball.
The BAAW is 3D printed in ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) — chosen specifically for garage and outdoor environments. ASA is heat resistant (won't warp in a hot shop), UV stable (won't fade in the sun), and oil-safe. Keep it away from acetone-based solvents. The custom letters are also printed in ASA.
3D-printed letters slide onto a track built into the handle. Clean, bold, and secure — no stickers, no heat transfers. You pick the letters and colors, we print and assemble them. Front-side lettering (up to 15 characters) is included free with every BAAW order.
Pre-orders are estimated to begin shipping end of July 2026. Pre-order customers ship before any general release. You'll receive a tracking notification when yours is on the way. If you ordered before June 15th, you also receive a free personalized 12" wrench that ships within 3–6 days of your order.

Every wrench ships with built-in hanging hooks — no extra hardware needed. Lean it against a wall, hang it from rope or chain, or mount it flat. A dedicated wall mount kit is in development and will be available as a separate add-on.
Currently we ship within the USA. International shipping is something we're working toward — if you're outside the US and want one, reach out through the contact page and we'll see what we can do.
