Each letter is precision 3D-printed and slides onto a track built into the handle — clean, bold, and secure. No engraving, no stickers, no janky heat-press transfers.

Front-side lettering is included free on both the 12" gift wrench and the Big Ass Wrench. Want letters on the back side too? Add it at checkout.

The Big Ass Adjustable Wrench — and every BAAW Letter — is 3D-printed in ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate). ASA was chosen because the BAAW lives in garages, shops, and outdoor spaces where materials get tested.

Who Builds This

🔧 Built by an Engineer

HMPFAC is a one-man shop run by a mechanical engineer with over a decade of experience designing, prototyping, and manufacturing parts and tooling across multiple industries. Every wrench is designed using CAD, produced using state of the art additive manufacturing, hand-assembled, and inspected in our Pennsylvania shop before it ships.

This started as a gift for my dad. I scaled an 8" model I’d been making for internal marketing at work all the way up to 6.5 feet, cut it into printable sections, and finished it just in time for Father’s Day. His reaction is what made me start HMPFAC. I’m leaving my engineering career to build this — and I stand behind every single order personally.

When does the Big Ass Wrench ship?

Pre-orders are estimated to begin shipping end of July. You’ll receive a tracking notification when yours is on the way.

When does the free 12" wrench ship?

We print and package each one to order. It ships within 3–6 days of your purchase — order by June 15th to guarantee it arrives before Father’s Day.

What exactly is the free 12" wrench?

It’s a 12" novelty display wrench — all-in-one 3D-printed design, built and personalized specifically for your order. A great gift on its own and a perfect stand-in until the Big Ass Wrench arrives. Think of it as the opening act.

What happens if I order after June 15th?

The Father’s Day pre-order pricing ($369) and the free 12" wrench offer both expire June 15th. After that, the Big Ass Wrench goes to regular pricing at $420 with no gift.

Is there a limit on how many are available?

Yes — capped at 500 units. No extensions, no exceptions. When they sell out, they’re gone until regular sales open. If you want multiple of these behemoths, GO HAM!

Can I customize both sides of the handle?

Front-side lettering is included free on both wrenches. Back-side lettering is available for the BAAW only as a paid add-on — add from the Letters product page.

Can I use duplicate letters or special characters?

Yes — duplicates and letter swaps are available for an additional charge. Add more from the Letters product page.

What is the Big Ass Wrench?

It’s a 6.5-foot precision novelty display piece — 3D-printed in ASA, personalized with your letters, and designed to be the most impressive thing in any garage in the country. The jaw mechanism moves just like the real thing. It’s built to be displayed and admired.

What’s your cancellation and return policy?

You can cancel any time before your order ships. For BAAW pre-orders, once the free 12" wrench ships your order is final. We don’t accept returns due to shipping costs, but if your product is defective reach out and we’ll make it right.

What material is the wrench made from?

The Big Ass Adjustable Wrench and all BAAW Letters are 3D-printed in ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) — rated for heat, UV, and oil/fuel resistance, well-suited for garage and outdoor environments. Avoid acetone-based solvents. The free 12" wrench is printed in PLA, which is not heat or chemical resistant.
